Well, Hello! Welcome to CPAMindset Academy. I'm Brittany Brown, CPA. I'm currently a Tax Manager at a local CPA firm in Raleigh, NC. I've been working in the public accounting industry for over 7 years now. I earned my CPA license in 2020 after successfully navigating the intense CPA exam process. I passed each exam on the first attempt with scores ranging between the mid 80s to low 90s. I conquered this exam by crafting a personal study plan that allowed me to hit my goals and enjoy the journey along the way. I discovered this was a huge reason for my success in conquering the CPA exam. Who wants to be miserable the whole time!? This is a marathon, not a sprint! That is why I like to focus on my coachee's mindset throughout working together. If you are burned out, you're most likely not going to make it to the finish line.
My passion for helping CPA candidates started from my own journey. I know firsthand the challenges, pressures, and loneliness that come with preparing for the CPA exam. Seeing others struggle is what motivated me to create CPAMindset Academy. Knowledgeable, Patient and Caring
When I first started looking for a tutor, I wanted the price to be between $30-$50/hr, but as a time to get help shortened, I raised the price to $75/hr. Still, I couldn't find anyone. I got to where I didn't care what the cost was as long as I could get help. Finally, I got a message from Brittany, and all I could think of was that I hoped she understood this work better than me. Brittany is so patient and very knowledgeable. It was nice to laugh with her because it relaxed me, and with all of the work I did with Brittany, I brought my grade from a D to an A. She doesn't do the work for you, so if that is what you are looking for, she is not the one. She will explain concepts and then verify your understanding with questions. I am telling you, with Brittany, you will get your money's worth. I am so happy that Brittany answered my message.
